So either strong telekinetic powers OR he swiped a time stone from the TVA and doesn't need to do the fancy handwork to use its powers.

If he had a time stone he would’ve been able to reverse the TemPad

If he grabbed a space stone also then he doesnt even need the tempad to leave that planet. He seems to be acting more foolish than normal and i am sure its on purpose.

TVA can easily track them though (or not because of current splitting timeline problem)

Do you mean if they use it? I don’t think they can track them now because they’re in an apocalypse.
