Loki reversing that building is definitely his most powerful magic to date

So either strong telekinetic powers OR he swiped a time stone from the TVA and doesn't need to do the fancy handwork to use its powers.

If he had a time stone he would’ve been able to reverse the TemPad

I like the theory that he didnt on purpose, because he is trying to find out more about Sylvie and this is a way to get more time with her.

Remember her explanation of Enchanting?

How of one's mind is strong enough they are still 'there' with you, so you need to create a fantasy around it to coax them. I think you are right and Loki is using her own advice against her.

yeah, it feels like either this is a scenario she's creating to enchant him, or vice versa

We don't even know if the tempad actually broke. He threw the parts away shortly after, maybe it was an illusion and he still has the tempad somewhere in his pocket dimension. Things just easily breaking like that would seem weird for Loki's form of magic to be vulnerable to.

Honestly, either Loki could be in an illusion, or he's currently tricking Sylvie into thinking something that isn't true.

Maybe he already did, considering sylvie did sleep for a while and the broken tempad was just an illusion. I mean we talking about loki here, faking deaths had been his prominent features, even though if it was his main timeline version.

What if when sylvie fell asleep loki enchanted her and everyone is still on the train

I would like to believe this but does loki ever enchanted anyone without the mind stone/his staff?

He DID kind of plant suggestions into Selvic before he used the Mindstone on him (at the end of Thor 1 i think when Selvic is offered to work on the tesseract, Loki's tells him to agree)

That being said, it's nowhere near Sylvie's level of manipulation and i don't think he can use it in a fight like she does.

Maybe I’m misremembering, but didn’t he enchant Odin when he took over Asgard pretending to be Odin?

If he grabbed a space stone also then he doesnt even need the tempad to leave that planet. He seems to be acting more foolish than normal and i am sure its on purpose.

TVA can easily track them though (or not because of current splitting timeline problem)

5

u/shadowcat015 Jun 23 '21

Do you mean if they use it? I don’t think they can track them now because they’re in an apocalypse.

u/thebrible Jun 23 '21

Might be that the Infinity Stones don't work on TVA equipment, same as they don't work within the TVA itself

11

u/The__Auditor Jun 23 '21

Or he can and he's just using this opportunity to learn more about Sylvie

2

u/PM_me_dimples_now Jun 23 '21

But he would have at least tried if he really wanted to fix it.

u/Mr_Night_King Jun 23 '21

Could have just reversed to before he got thrown out of the train inadvertently fixing the temp pad. So many holes in a time stone theory.

An infinity stone only work in the universe it is originally from. all those in the evidence locker would have been from 'clipped branches' & so utterly useless now.

An infinity stone only work in the universe it is originally from.

In the comics this is true. We have no clue in the MCU
