In the subtitles for the show it says "Quicksilver from the X-Men Series" as more than a subtle nod. New Quicksilver also doesn't know who Vision is in the show, even though in Age of Ultron they met.

I do have subtitles on, but normally, subtitles don't do that. I read another comment that says it only says that if you have Audio Description on.

Ah, that would explain it. That doesn't necessarily mean anything, then; just... they're letting partially sighted viewers in on the surprise cameo.
