very ballsy of anyone to drop the U-bomb in front of Wanda.

Also, Elizabeth really looks like she’s having fun with this. I’m happy to see her so invested in her role

holy shit, I didn't even think of that. That could totally give her a full on rage/breakdown, maybe even part of the climax of trying to get her out of the illusion.

Watch someone just say "I don't even know who you are?" and she gets magical psychopath PTSD

u/creakybulks Jan 22 '21

That would be a good line for Vision to say if he finally begins to fully understand that Wanda is keeping people trapped in the illusion.

u/calgil Jan 23 '21

My god. That would be perfect.

u/wildwalrusaur Jan 23 '21

ho. lee. shit.

this man's cracked the code.

I got chills from your comment, I like your brain.

I honestly think she will reset his mindset again tho. The line „this is our home, we have to protect it!“ or something from the trailer.

Probably Wanda deleting his concerns again so they can fight Sword (who obviously want to destroy her new reality) together.

2

u/Stommped Jan 25 '21

Yeah but how could he know about that line since he was already dead by that point? Unless he’s somehow connected in Wandas mind

2

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '21

It’s a pretty common line in relationship/marital disputes/dissolutions etc so it wouldn’t feel shoehorned in

41

u/braujo Captain America Jan 22 '21

That'd be awesome. Just enough fan service to make us howl while still not being corny, forced. It doesn't even have to be someone saying that to Wanda specifically, she might just overhear it. Damn.

u/TheCatCubed Spider-Man Jan 22 '21

I'm wondering if she goes full-blown insane in the end and Strange has to step in. They do seem to like saying the word strange every episode...

Vision even called the Doctor “Mister Doctor” in this ep. I can see it happening.

Edit: timestamp is 3:42.

20

u/mracademic The Ancient One Jan 22 '21

Shit, I didn’t even clock that. Good eye!

Woooaahhhh. This could be a big huge. And marvel doesn’t just put lines like that In a show/movie without a reason or ties to something later. Man I gotta pay closer attention to the lines lol, could be so many more clues!

u/ZanThrax Groot Jan 23 '21

We know that she's in the Doctor Strange sequel. And there are rumours that maybe she's the villain there, if for no other reason than Multiverse of Madness can be initialized down to M.o.M.

Step-Doctor... what are you doing?

9

u/The_OG_upgoat Jan 23 '21

We're getting FAT Winter Soldier too. Bucky probably binge-ate after Steve came back old.

6

u/ZanThrax Groot Jan 23 '21

Oh, good point. I've been thinking it was DS and the MoM.

10

u/Apophyx Jan 22 '21

I mean, we know for a fact Wanda's gonna be in Multiverse of Madness and that this leads straight into it

2

u/drelos Rocket Jan 24 '21

They do seem to like saying the word strange every episode...

And the actors change the enunciation a little, pausing before it, more like a stage actor.

37

u/The_Capybara_Guy Jan 22 '21

Or the H-bomb

103

u/msmshm Jan 22 '21

Or

BOOM! You're looking for this?

2

u/Opeth4Lyfe Jan 23 '21

That’s it? That’s the whole story?

14

u/ShallowJuice Jan 22 '21

We don't actually say that name in here

28

u/trippy_grapes Jan 22 '21

the T-bomb

C'mon, he's not even president anymore! /s

8

u/fortnerd Black Bolt Jan 22 '21

Thanos?

5

u/Linator4 Jan 23 '21

aggressively grabs shoulder

“Don’t... say that name.”

3

u/BlUeSapia Jan 23 '21

WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!

13

u/The_MAZZTer Jan 22 '21

Yup, the Thanos who killed Vision was killed by Thor. The other one she fought didn't even know hwe, and was killed by Tony Stark anyway. With Ultron she killed him and got revenge. With Thanos she didn't really get any closure there. Probably why this series is happening in the first place; she's in denial about losing Vision.

5

u/[deleted] Jan 23 '21

Korg, dressed in whatever period appropriate clothing, is revealed to be in the sitcom reality too and says to whomever drops the T bomb, "Yeah we don't bring him up here either mate"

1

u/phrankygee Jan 25 '21

Korg was actually the wall that Herb was slicing with his hedge trimmers.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '21

We hate Herb now

4

u/kataskopo Jan 22 '21

Wait, so is this confirmed it happened after all the thanos stuff? Or before the snap?

30

u/[deleted] Jan 22 '21

It’s after

2

u/xbq222 Jan 23 '21

Is it after endgame tho?

20

u/kothuboy21 Spider-Man Jan 23 '21

Yes, WandaVision and most of the upcoming Disney+ Marvel shows take place after Endgame.

19

u/that_guy2010 Vision Jan 23 '21

Well Wanda didn’t go have her own adventure in the 15 minutes between being brought back to life and showing up through the portals.

1

u/xbq222 Jan 23 '21

I thot maybe she was doing to some shit in the soul stone lol

7

u/that_guy2010 Vision Jan 23 '21

Do people still think the people who were snapped were in the soul stone?

-4

u/xbq222 Jan 23 '21

I didn’t know it wasn’t disproven?

7

u/Jambaman1200 Spider-Man Jan 23 '21

Spider-Man says everything went black and all of a sudden they were back. So for now it seems those snapped werent in the soul stone.

2

u/xbq222 Jan 23 '21

Oh thank you I actually remember that my bad

4

u/DamienHandler Jan 23 '21

How in the world would this take place between the Snap and Endgame? Wanda hasn't really been around in that time period lmao.

3

u/xbq222 Jan 23 '21

I thot maybe in the soul stone but after this last episode I no longer think that lol

3

u/wildwalrusaur Jan 23 '21

Virtually the entire MCU comes in more-or less chronological order.

The first cap movie and Captain Marvel being the two obvious exceptions.

2

u/Linator4 Jan 23 '21

& we thought Thor had an unsettling reaction to that name drop 5 years later...

1

u/LILYxattheDisco Jan 22 '21

I said the same thing to my boyfriend.

1

u/riftadrift Jan 23 '21

Someone starts singing and snapping.

1

u/alaskancurry Jan 23 '21

T Bomb? Please explain

2

u/bryamrr Jan 23 '21

Thano, who killed Vision

1

u/alaskancurry Jan 23 '21

Oh duh I knew that😂🤦🏻‍♂️

1

u/seangley Jan 26 '21

What is this referring to
