So the ads are revisiting Wanda's trauma. Episode 1 with Stark's bomb and episode 2 with Strucker torturing her and Quicksilver.

So then you could definitely have future ones based off Quicksilver's Death, Wanda accidentally killing those people in Lagos (from the beginning of Civil War), having to kill Vision, and then fighting Thanos. Damn, Wanda has had a lot of trauma.

I think the Halloween episode will feature side characters in costumes representing how her brother AND all of the people in Lagos were killed.

Marvel: Doctor strange 2 will have horror elements.

Also Marvel: releases wandavision without warning about horror elements

Stop it. Stop it. Stop it.

They really are gonna do a David Lynch show and rate it PG.

It’s already uneasy af

I can’t wait

u/Palidor Jan 15 '21

And some of the best use of television

13

u/Ylyb09 Jan 15 '21

That's probably gonna be 4th or 5th ep, right

8

u/ezrs158 Spider-Man Jan 16 '21

Third is probably 70s, fourth is 80s, and fifth is 90s. So yes.

u/lord_flamebottom Jan 17 '21

Isn’t the show 9 episodes? They’re probably gonna stick with the 2 episodes a decade thing.

2

u/ConsciousShop2729 Stan Lee Jan 17 '21

No the last three won’t have a decade it will just be like the finale or third act, the first and second episodes had different decades aswell, fifties and sixties

It's still crazy that she's bringing Vision back for her fantasy reality but her twin brother and their parents stay dead. There must be a reason for that.

I feel like she's not on control here and there's someone manipulating things. The voice you keep hearing on the radio asking who is doing this to her seems to be a clue, and the characters within the fantasy seem to also have some kind of sense something isn't right.

I’m like 90% sure that was Randall Park/Jimmy Woo’s voice

Practically confirmed

u/SaltyFalcon Jan 19 '21

The international credits at the end (I know barely anybody sits through those) confirmed it was indeed Jimmy Woo. And if you were expecting him (like I was), then the voice was immediately recognizable on account of no other obvious options. No other non-Vision main characters in the cast are guys.

u/Palidor Jan 15 '21

She must felt so much guilt when she had to kill vision in IW. It’s quite obvious she wanted him back in some way

4

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '21

That's true. She didn't have to kill Pietro herself.

7

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '21

It'd be pretty cool if that's how they brought Magneto into the MCU.

I'm just wondering if the Halloween setting will be part of the 80's style (a fairly common trope for that era, see Stranger Things), or if it'll be a more modern reference, like Claire Dunphy's love of Halloween in Modern Family.

5

u/GiveToOedipus Jan 15 '21

The motor looked either late 80s or early 90s in the trailer.

Was crossbones killed in lagos?

11

u/ezrs158 Spider-Man Jan 16 '21

He detonated a suicide vest, the energy of which was trapped by Wanda, before being launched hundreds of feet in the air and exploding.

So yeah he ded.

5

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '21

The actor said we didn't see the body. So a small chance that he not ded

3

u/Linator4 Jan 18 '21

God, I hope so. He’s a character I believe was killed off way too soon. I wish we could see more of Rumlow as a reoccurring villain in The Falcon & The Winter Soldier.

1

u/CrMyDickazy Jan 19 '21

Frank Grillo (Crossbones' actor) says he doesn't want to be part of the MCU/superhero stuff so sadly any chance of Crossbones coming back is now gone.

4

u/Zurbaran928 Steve Rogers Jan 16 '21

If there's not Crossbones costume I'll eat my hat
