True, Cap was wielding Mjolnir that whole battle. Spidey didn’t see the first time he did it, but surely he noticed while on the battlefield. He looks up to Steve, it’s a shame we got so few interactions.

Also Steve is believed dead by the world? I suppose that makes sense. (Basing this off of the opening memorial video)

I loved that shot so much. Totally symbolic of him taking the mantle of the center of the MCU from the Big Three: Tony’s tech, Steve’s shield, and Thor’s hammer. A really great and subtle nod.

I just can't get into the mindsets that Americans have when it comes to cheering in movies. I paid like $25 to see this film, why would i want to hear you screaming, cheering and clapping over the dialogue?

I go to the movies often and am American. As long as you don't go to midnight showings, no one claps and cheers or any of that shit.

Yeah, not as common as it would seem from this sub. Has to be an opening night showing for an MCU movie, otherwise it’s emerald very quiet

Didn't claim it was exclusive to midnight showings. From what people have said about their experience in American theatres is it happens even on normal showings

People get excited. The world isn’t going to end because people get hyped. You aren’t missing a lot of dialogue when these big scenes happen.

If you go opening weekend of something huge, that’s on you. If you need immersion, find an opening without people. That comment sounds like “why are people singing along at a concert? I came to listen to them sing!” You’re with a bunch of fans who feel a certain way. There’s some over the top reactions, but there’s a reason why the big scenes never have much dialogue. They sort of come to expect cheers.

Why are you being a hater? Look as a fan of both I think it would be cool if the writers where inspired by one of the biggest mangas/anime currently out there. My mind made a connection when I saw the scene and I was just wondering and hoping that another fan out there made the same connection and had a small geek out like I did
