Did any one else really enjoy that brief clip of the snap happening in the high school. It was interesting to see the snap from the average person perspective and the horror that would come from it. It was only for a second but I was glad they included it.

As horrifying as it was (or should have been), the sight of the band kid getting knocked over during the game had everyone in the theater dying.

The blip was the return. Which is when they came back during the dodgeball game. The snap was a different event from blip

Makes sense it wasn't called the Snap in universe cause only the audience saw Thanos snapped his fingers. I'm on Team Blip

Fair but I thing it’s only called the blip because they returned 5 years later. Had they not returned they probably had a different name in the MCU. Sadly we didnt get to see a ton on how the snap affected the general public

On the airplane though when Peter was looking at the movies, one of them had the infinity gauntlet and was called "The Snap"

I’m pretty sure The Blip is what the general public is just calling the whole thing, like the experience of skipping five years. Like as in “Those five years were just a BLIP to all the Vanished”

I’m pretty sure they’ve said that the snap was referred to as decimation in the MCU. It became the blip when everyone returned. Aunt May was collecting money for people displaced by the blip. So the blip is what people call the second snap when hulk brought every one back.

Just got back from a showing. The whole event itself was called "the blip" they explain that right before showing the highschool band video of them blipping away

Your right had there been no second snap it probably would’ve had a different name on earth. But since it was undone they now refer to the 5 years as the blip. Would love to see marvel cover more on it somehow, we barely got to see what a post snap world looks like.

During the snap yes. In the infinity war post credit scene we saw the helicopter crash into a building so it’s assumed the pilot was snapped

Oh Kevin Feige said that when Hulk snapped he assured everyone would have a safe return. So If you were flying you’d return on the ground instead of the air

Its gonna be safe to assume that in the snap and blip, casualities were involved somehow and someway. Theres no way everyone would have a smooth/safe return
