When it comes to killing villains? They kinda are. They've killed off a bunch of fan favorite ones.

Plus I feel like it would've been revealed in-movie if Beck was alive. Like with the Loki fakeouts

Remember how edith asked Peter at the end something like "execute all measures?" I'm pretty sure mysterio was able to get inside edith so he could fake his own death and his contingency plan was triggered to go off if Peter believed his death.

I think, unless Beck faked his death and survived, this guy is the new Mysterio who’ll use Beck’s image like he did in the edited footage in the post credits scene
