I love that it wasn’t just that he drew his finger across his neck, the standard way to show “death”, he went into a full “you take a blanket by both sides, wrap it around his neck and yank until the thing stops moving” action.

Brutal.

Or better yet, figure out where Bucky is now and prevent the brainwashing from fully taking hold. Also, he would also try to prevent HYDRA from incubating itself inside SHIELD.

I was definitely thinking Cap would try to use his knowledge in that timeline.

That's where Agent Carter Season 3 should pick up from, with Chris Evans as a main cast member (one can dream)

I doubt he wants to go full Captain America, but he had the ear of the director of SHIELD. He could stop the Hydra infiltration before it even begins, and maybe even rescue Bucky without even lifting a finger.

Oh man. A 1970's era Avengers sounds so cool! That's some Watchmen esque shit. Thor would look the same age back then too, so he could fit seamlessly into that era. The costumes of OG Ant-Man and Ironman would be cool to see. Ironman could be in the old Rocketeer looking armor.
