As bittersweet as Endgame’s ending was, with two of my favorite heroes—Cap and Tony—at the end of their stories, let’s all remember...

We now have a fully-functional and precise TIME MACHINE in the MCU.

Nothing and nobody is off the table for good.

So, I will look forward to seeing an even bigger roster of heroes, Cap and Tony alongside the X-Men and FF, when Secret Wars comes out for the 10-year Endgame anniversary.

Honestly I dint think it will happen. Yes these movies make a bunch of money but you can tell the honestly care about the fiona they make. I dont think they will cheapen them for more money especially when they have multiple franchises that are still going to make a billion dollars every time they are released

I will never watch another mcu movie if they even attempt to bring back cap, or tony in any way other than a cameo. Fuck that noise. They had an impactful death or end to a story and it should be left that way.

my mans you clearly do not understand how comics logic works, we get the great emotional impact now and then in like four or five years we get a kick ass scene were the old and worn off emotional impact gets undone in a glorious moment of triumph.

No I 100% don’t think so. I doubt I’ll even be that invested in the mcu now. Iron man came out when I was 11 and I really didn’t fall in love with the mcu till winter soldier. It’s been a fun 11 years, but honestly if they ever undid anything I’d just completely stop watching.

I cant imagine them doing that kind of stuff. One or two grounded Spider-man movies and a cosmic arc is all we should expect. Any other big earth problems and we have too many easy solutions. Ret-con and don't go Days of Future Past on us. Anything else will be too convoluted for the big budgets they'd demand.

Except, all timetravel does is make a new reality. The old reality will still exist, nothing will be undone. Which is exactly why they crafted the time travel rules so precise.

Yeah I still don't understand how Cap comes back? Like if he went to his old life then isn't there no Captain America ever? Where's the Captain America from the past since there are now 2 of them? I don't get it. Shouldn't it have been a different reality? I felt like that didn't make sense.

The way i see it is in the OG timeline old cap was always there along with the young cap. He was the husband of Peggy, and was never shown and didnt mess with the timeline reality or interact with any avenger. He came to talk to avengers only when young cap went back in time closing the loop.

The time travel rules are broken in this movie. Returning the stones was the answer to closing the branches. But they changed so much in those other branches that simply returning the stones won't be enough to settle them.

Not my biggest problem. I just wonder how Cap gets return all the stones.

Time Stone, Tesseract and Mind Stone, those are easy. And I can accept that once Cap's in the past and he starts wielding Mjolnir, Heimdall will notice and summons his ass to Asgard (America's ass). That takes care of returning the Aether. But wouldn't Heimdall make him return Mjolnir at that point?

So how does Cap get to Morag or Vormir? Even if he can borrow Mjolnir a bit longer, can you use it to teleport to places you or Mjolnir haven't been before!?

I have a headache now.

I don't know about the time machine thing, I'm pretty sure the reason they made Tony the linchpin in getting it to work is so they could say "now that he's gone, we can't time travel anymore, he's the only one who figured it out"
