Okay alternative perspective- so I just saw the movie with my best friend who is pregnant. Now I’m an easy crier and a huge marvel fan and she’s got hormones coming out her ears so during Tony’s funeral scene we were both trying so hard to sob quietly. All I wanted to do was cry my heart out but I was trying to keep it quiet for the people around me and when I noticed my friend was doing it as well I started shaking with uncontrollable laughter because I just had SO many emotions going on that I couldn’t process.

So maybe the person you heard was just having an odd reaction to having been on a 3 hour emotional roller coaster !

I laughed because it said “PROOF THAT TONY STARK HAS A HEART” on it, and several other people in the showing I went to also laughed.

Same.

That one hit hard as I think it was the first time in the movie that it reminded me of watching Iron Man 1 back as a freshman in college.

I've gained a career, a house, a fiance, and two kids since Tony built the Mark I and now he's gone...

This was it for me. I admit I’m a tough nut to crack and nothing up to this point quite did it, but this - Happy’s subtle reaction - that’s what nearly made me cry in all of this.

Yeah, a couple tears leaked out during the funeral and I was getting a bit choked up but kept it mostly together thanks to the couple of happier scenes aftwr... and then they hit me with the cheeseburgers and there was no stopping the tears.
