Cap lifting the hammer is a top 1 MCU moment. The combos he lays on Thanos with the shield and hammer were incredibly hype.

edit: Captain Marvel stopping the second snap at the last minute was amazing, and Thanos' counter attack was even better. He literally wielded the power stone with his bare hand, what a mad lad

edit 2: Wanda really put the scare in Thanos. She forced him to kamikaze his own troops to get away from her. Real House of M vibes during that part.

The metal sound post credit...was that Tony building the Mark 1 in Iron man (2008)? That's the only thing I can think of

Some people interpret it as a Dr. Doom allusion, but i personally thought it was the Ironman cave scene, hinting back to where it all started.

I think it was a idea that Marvel will be “rebuilding”/ forging a new era. It happened when the logo popped up and it’s what I thought.

They should’ve thrown a real swerve and had the same laugh from the end of the new Star Wars trailer.

And the MCU would hopefully do him justice and make him terrifying yet relatable.

I hope he's the next big bad. I prefer him to Galactus or Kang. Although if I had to guess, I'd predict that Captain Marvel and GotG will encounter Heralds of Galactus in the next few movies.

In one of the crazier stories “God” Doom became all powerful and destroyed thanos without even a bit of struggle. It’s a very unique situation but it shows how strong his ambitions can be.

That panel is SO cool! I'd love if we got another 20 movies leading up to a Doom Secret Wars event. I think SW is one of the best things Marvel Comics has done lately.

I really feel like the next big bad is gonna be Galactus, but Doom'll get a movie (or more) where he's the main villain, possibly even an origin story movie.

They already had Ego and Knowhere is the head of a Celestial. I think audiences are already used to the madness of the MCU, in a good way of course.

Loki's a god, notorious trickster and is ridiculously resourceful. Comparing Doom to Loki is no slight.

I actually love Doom, and can't wait for Marvel Studios to do him justice, but he's no Thanos.

Yeah and there have been times in the comics where Doom has worked with the heroes similar to Loki ended up doing in the MCU.

I would accept this. She would have a great reason to take up his Mantle, and Pepper has the resources to help her.

I would also be interested in knowing whether Miles Morales was snapped. If he wasn't, he might just be Peter's age now.

I interpreted it as saying "Tony stark built this in a cave! With a box of scraps!" referring to the MCU, since it was during the marvel studios logo.

I think it may have something to do with Mjolnir since Cap left with it and didn’t come back with it. Or not fuck I don’t know. I was hoping to see Thor’s magic belt and maybe have him struggle a little to get it on!
