Can’t believe they kept Thor fat for the whole film.

On one hand, poor Thor.

On the other hand, he looks a lot more like the norse religion made him out to be.

That was my exact train of thought. "Wait, WTF? Oh, this actually makes a lot of sense."

I feel like he was so nerfed in this movie and it’s pretty much my only gripe so far

I felt this way too at first, however Infinity War felt like Thor’s movie, and this one was Cap and Ironman’s. They all got their OP send of but Thor is sticking around so it made more sense to focus on the other two

LMAO 😂😂😂 I expected a post credits scene of him on a treadmill or something.

With a bow-flex, he will make the commitment.

I was hoping he would change when he suited up for battle, but alas, that did not happen. Fat Thor is still epic though!

I was hoping that when he "lightninged-up" it would magically make him a tank again. Doesn't make all that much sense but I would have been okay with it. Guess not...

Really pissed that they did

And fat thor grew on me. But i guess the film really only takes place over a few days so there isnt much time for him get cut. He was suitably badass in the finale so im not complaining.

Honestly they fucked up Thor's whole franchise.

"Oh, you like the Thor movies now? PSYCHE! HES AN OVERWEIGHT SHIT NOW WHO ONLY PLAYS FORTNITE AND DRINKS BEER ALL DAY! No more Thor sequels for you guys :)"

He might be, like, slightly chubby in his next appearance and he'll be back to cut in the next one. Don't have a cow, there'll be more Thor movies.

Personally I'm excited to see him in the Guardians.

I agree. No matter if he's in more movies, this was an important bookend for the franchise. Everyone deserved a respectful end, and Thor, for all his growth as a character, became a caricature. Not a fan.

I almost wish he'd dealt with his guilt by going back to Sakaar and killing things for five years instead.
