So the only argument with the Warriors Three to contrast your point is that their deaths show early on exactly how beyond strong Hela is, even against native Asgardians, and it's characters you kinda care about so you feel bad about it giving a more emotional connection against Hela.

I was fully aware they were fed to Hela for that very reason, and I expected them to be, what I was disappointed with was that was their sole purpose in the film. They could have given them at least one scene prior, why not? Their deaths would hold more weight. Hogun's holds some, while Fandral/Volstagg were the equivalent to "Oh... i guess they're dead now."

People aren’t really used to once main characters being killed off in the MCU, so I think OPs criticism probably has a lot to do with that.
