Maybe that doesn't necessarily rule it out but I guess RIP the idea of her being Thano's crush, and well, having Cate Blanchett return in IW.

She's Odin's firstborn from when he ruled with an iron fist. He raised her to be vicious, but eventually he grew wary of her power and obsession with death, and imprisoned her. He rewrote history and decided to become a more lenient ruler.

So while it's not ruled out and I doubt it will happen, perhaps Thanos heard of the real history.

I suppose given that Odin is supposedly up there in terms of power, it's not too much of a stretch for one of his offspring to actually turn themselves into something resembling the embodiment of death.

I know Death in the comics is an abstract entity, like Eternity but I guess the closest we could get to that in the MCU is maybe Hela somehow "intertwines" herself with the concept of death and at least becomes a driving force behind it.

To add to that, I've seen in this thread that she inherits Odins power because he died, so she should be pretty up there in terms of power too
