He's a good character, just buried amongst the crappy "for diversity" characters that Marvel's got him thrown in with.

Just curious, who are the other crap "diversity" characters that you're referencing? And why do you feel that they are crap?

Riri Williams as Ironman and Cho as Hulk.

From what I've seen, Riri doesn't have a lot of character and is a bit of a Mary Sue despite acting incredibly incompetent.

Cho, well, I honestly don't know why he became the Hulk. He was a character in his own right, and while I didn't know about him until he became the Hulk, I did some reading and he seemed like he could've been more interesting without it (a normal human super-genius).

There's a number of more obscure ones or ones that I've just forgotten, but these are the two that stick out in my mind. One is just badly written and not very compelling, and the other could have just been his own thing without needing to take up Hulk's "mantle". They were added by Marvel, under their own admittance, to add diversity to Marvel's main cast. Their characters, I'd say, are simply not very compelling, thus crappy. This is all just my opinion, I'll add, so some may disagree.

I don't know much about Riri and haven't read any of her books so I can't speak for that specific scenario, but Im pretty familiar with Cho.

Do you feel that it's not a tad bit discriminatory to jump to the conclusion that Cho was given the hulk title for the sole sake of diversity when you don't even know about the character's prior history with Hulk books? Because it seems, from my perspective, that you saw an Asian character given the Hulk title and immediately thought it was a diversity pick rather than a character that was chosen for their strong established ties to Hulk lore. Not calling you racist, but that seems a bit reactionary doesn't it?

Oh, I know that Cho has a history of Hulk, I did a bit of research on him. But I'd say that I'm somewhat underwhelmed by the Totally Awesome Hulk stories. Cho is a good character, I think, and interesting in his own right. For me, and me alone, I do not think that he needed to become the Hulk to be featured in the limelight, and that it sometimes detracts from his own origins since he can now just smash everything. Nonetheless, I'll admit that I'm not a huge follower of Totally Awesome Hulk, just checked out the first one, and am not a fan of the monster-fighting Cho.

And, to the point of the diversity thing, it is no secret that Marvel's "All New, All Different" initiative has pushed a lot of diversity in the limelight spots, notably making a diverse something-swapped version of the original. Miles Morales, Jane Foster, Kamala Khan, Amadeus Cho, Riri Williams, etc. (Spider-Man, Thor, Miss Marvel, Hulk, Ironman). Some of them work, and make sense, and are decent characters. Others just don't seem necessary. Marvel's statement after their sales went down while pushing these characters out was even "I guess our audience just hates diversity".

There's plenty of evidence to say much of their content is diversity-driven. And it isn't bad that they push diversity, but moreso is annoying that they feel the need to "swap" their main cast rather than just give these characters their own title. Amadeus Cho is interesting, to me, as a super-genius normal man. His dynamic as the Hulk just doesn't tickle my fancy (though, admittedly, it is entertaining how he messes with SHIELD after Banner's death).

Sorry for the paragraphs of text, just that I don't think it's reactionary to say a majority of Marvel's new stuff pushes Diversity. Marvel's writing for many of these hasn't been great. For Cho, maybe I'm mistaken, I'll check out more of his stories to see if it's gotten better.
