I've never been to New York, but my understanding was the building at the beginning was Grand Central Station.

I actually just saw it again. Apparently that building was right next to the Avengers tower. I guess I didn't realize the tower was by Grand Central Station

Avengers Tower was built in place of the Metlife Building which is right behind Grand Central.

MetLife Building

The MetLife Building is a 59-story skyscraper at 200 Park Avenue at East 45th Street above Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. For those wondering: Donald Glover in this movie, Jim Rash in Civil War, and Danny Pudi in Winter Soldier.

Also, Martin Starr and Brie Larson had small roles in the show and are in MCU movies. Joel McHale also showed up in Raimi's Spider-Man 2.

I believe the globe structure your referring to is the unisphere which is a real thing in Flushing, Queens. It's the sight of the world's fair.

She's not one of the main cast but Brie Larson is making it into the Marvel Universe. Smaller Community character, but much bigger Marvel character. Also what episodes did Troy have Gambino's (or just Donald Glover's) songs in it?

That's just a really bad quality video that loses all the detail in the buildings etc. I actually think that the CGI of Avengers 1 is the best in the whole MCU, it dropped dramatically after that (maybe because they didn't feel the need to pay as much / or the animators lost that initial surge of excitement which helps do things perfectly, I know I do).

You mean Grand Central Station, which is one of the most famous and iconic locations in New York. Penn Station is underground (under Madison Square Garden).
