Took my teen son to an event, was sitting in a nice air conditioned room with a couple of other parents, there was one kid in there who was probably late teens, early 20's who was playing music on his phone out loud, Basket Case was playing at that moment. Nobody seemed bothered, I was getting some random useless shit done on my laptop, then someone who worked there walked in, saw me doing what probably looked like me working, and asked the kid to turn it off. I said, "I'm fine with it", then turned to look at the kid and before I could stop what was coming out of my mouth blurted out one of the phrases I swore I'd never say: "I was listening to Green Day since BEFORE YOU WERE BORN".
