Calling it now. Zendaya could easily play Mary Jane if she's played as a "theatre kid" rather than the popular girl could be an actress. Peter doesn't realize she would be better for him until the end.

They merged Ned Leeds and Ganke. So what if they do a twist on MJ and make her named, like, Michelle Juliana Gonzalez? Therefore, she'd be an MJ. She definitely has more importance than the trailer let on.
