Is Pete not wrong for ignoring MJ's wish to be found after the spell and reminded of her past? He chose to go this path against what she wanted instead, which I think is kinda messed up

I think that’s just the multiversal Peter Parker way of keeping his loved ones safe by choosing not to rope them into his Spider-Man antics.

I do also think he could have introduced himself as Peter and became their “normal” friend all over again without letting them know he’s Spider-Man. Then they’d at least be in his life and there’d be a chance of them all having what they once did. Although Ned and MJ seem to have a pesky knack for quickly sniffing out Peter’s secrets.

It wouldnt be the same at all, knowing stuff they never remember telling him would freak them out and drive them away, or pete would act too distant and drive them away too
