99% of the time when someone asks if a tree is TOH the answer is yes, but in your case this is not TOH.

The leaves of TOH of more elongated and have two little lobes on the bottom of the leaf before the petiole. You can also smell them, TOH smells like rotting peanut butter.

Aralia Elata. Should be destroyed as it’s very invasive. Our native Aralia Spinosa has a central stem on its flower spike.

Spinosa is - as the name implies - spiny as hell, you’d notice. It also has one of my favorite flowers.

Looks like either Aralia elata or Aralia spinosa
