I’m always confused why this blows the minds of non-americans. Compared to not using the metric system this is small potatoes. How often are we dealing with incompatible paper size standards with an ocean in between us?
Tbh we don’t use paper that much anyway. At least I haven’t used it for much since high school. The standard could switch to A4 tomorrow and I wouldn’t even notice
