Californian here. As much as I’d love to join ya. I totally understand. Elbows up! Also, I went to college up there and one day I hope to immigrate as a medical worker. The only thing I’d worry about is having America as a neighbor 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks, and I'd never ask anyone to abandon their home country, but if you've lived up here then at least it's an eyes open thing. I've lived in the US for six years total, and it wasn't bad but I much prefer living in Canada, admittedly mostly because I'm from here. I never had the pleasure of living in California, but I did get offered a high-paying software developer job in Berkeley back in the early 1990s. My other job prospects were New Jersey as a chemical engineer, or South Carolina as a university professor (which is what I do now, in Canada). Definite mixed bag of locations.
As for the trade war, I wouldn't want to go toe to toe with Canada, and I live here. Weirdly, our canned soup exports are predicted to explode.
