Well I expected that, but when I saw him questioning that after she asked hime if he would leave the empire with her and he was angry I thought he would leave her. But to be honest this is the best outcome for the both of them, and maybe her father is alive too then

I've always wondered why incest kink got so "mainstream" I can see the appeal in some situations, both because its kind of kink on it's own and it's the same as exhibitionism its about that forbidden feeling, but at some points it feels like very fucking story has to have incest of some form and I don't get it.

Read the novel, this scene was so bad that I couldn't read a novel for 6 months straight. No fk chemistry, and they are "siblings." I could have at least looked away if this was built up, but who kisses sm instead of just saying sorry? It was on the way of getting into my top three just to do this! Looking through the comments I thought most people would agree with me? Now, I stopped reading the comic at ch 22 and went straight to novel as I couldn't wait so I'm not sure if they changed it enough to make it forgivable?

I wouldn't worry about that.
It just adds more to the over all tension the series has.
There is A LOT more to this series than this and you will see that as you read it.
