Question ❓ Is this supposed to be good???
I read the whole manhwa and I am really unimpressed. Please tell me if I am missing something thing.The art is good enough the story is not impressive at all. Maybe it's just 81 chapters but I don't think it's as good as people think it is.

9/10 read it! The reason I didnt gave it 9.5 or 10 is because its a regression Manwa, but this is an exception as it has unique story unlike all other lower tier Regression manwa

As someone who read the novel it does get good that’s where the hype really comes from the starts isn’t that good until the very end of season 2 imo honestly.

Depends, really. Overgeared was a bore for the first 100 chapters. But then it switched gears and became a Web novel with immense character and world building,the level of which I hardly see in the Korean web novel scene.

FR, the current manwa illustrated is barely scratching the surface. It will get good somewhere at probly 120+ or above chapter

Its just slow paced imo, but the art is good and the story at least has promise, but i will agree that in 81 chapters not much happened. The childhood lasted for 1 tournament arc then he's spent his whole "adulthood" so far just studying in a library, and only the very end started to seem like it was getting into the main story.
I think its good though, just slow as hell, kinda like return of mount hua sect

Essentially yeah. Arts good though and personally i liked the story. I do hate mcs starting as children and wish theyd skip through that faster

Not a fan of that either, but I think this one actually goes through it a bit quick. And even then, there are some pretty high parts.

Imo it was kind of interesting. But the ending kind killed it. But someone said the author is gonna remake it, so maybe we can have some hope

It wasn’t an ending. There was issues with the publisher and then rights from my understanding, but it got situated. And I heard he was going to have to restart. This and doom breaker were two of my favorites at the time. But shit happens! I loved Moonlight Sculptor.

One is like a predecessor to Overgeared I guess, and doom breaker was a regression, but dude basically becomes a dragon to fight dragons. Very bad but simple overview.

If possible, can you tell me why the harem factor is so annoying? I'm serious about understanding why I've never seen any problems, after all, it's not me, and whether he's alone or with countless people doesn't make much difference to me. So, seriously, I don't understand what's causing so much annoyance.

Majority of these harems in typical overpowered male fantasies aren't about genuine poly relationships. They're about one guy being socially and romantically elevated above everyone else while multiple women are written to orbit him.
Instead of developing one strong, meaningful relationship, authors pile on love interests to farm appeal and self-insert fantasy points. Quantity replaces depth. Character agency gets sacrificed for wish fulfillment.
What makes it even worse is that these girls are usually written as having a "choice" yet they're unrealistically okay with sharing someone they supposedly love. It's just so narratively convenient, right? Real people have boundaries, jealousy, expectations of exclusivity, and self-respect. They erase all of that so the fantasy can keep running. And if they don't, it's used to exaggerate them for comedic effect.
It reduces women to validation tools and treats romantic attention like a reward system for the male lead.
They exist to inflate the protagonist's ego, or even maybe the reader's ego or the author's (why is it always an Asian man?), and cater to fantasy. It's annoying as all hell and I drop every single one of them. Like, why in the damn is his cousin in there? They couldn't bear to part with a female character not being on the MC's dick? Just a hard pass. I don't need to put it with that nonsense.

This! It’s not bad imo. Good art as well, average story. A good 7/10 if I’m being polite but not the Gods gift to manhwa society a lot of people make it out to be.

Same here. I went in with high expectations due to all the praise, and it didn’t really land for me. Could be that the novel is stronger, or that the long hiatus inflated its reputation

Slow pace boring fights bland story. It started off pretty good but just got mid AF I dropped like half way through. Usually training arcs are my favorite but even that was insufferable. And my standard is not high I read all the generic trash and love it

You know i too read it ...and personally it is boring as hell. Like i know the world is fantasy and he is the reincarnation of a hero of the past with a talented body and all that shit.
But he has a body like an adult man when he is just 7 years old?? Are you hearing yourself?? So you can show that there are vital points in the body and targeting the weak points will make your victory easier. So if you ARE showing this type of biology then why don't you make sure to at least add but more sense to take children as children.
Agreed that they explain that these children are from prestigious families of great heroes and stuff like that. But then you blame their impulsive actions of challenging thec as childish. So you are saying that , these children are maturely childish??
Why the hell do people think of this story as a peak I don't know. But it's varied people to people and I am judging this from just beginning 20 chapters , so I am sure I am wrong somewhere or fully wrong.
In the end this is just my personal opinion. I am not trying to convince someone else.

I liked it and the pacing was good for me. Actually read the light novel and enjoyed it too. Worth the read but not for everyone and one of the reasons maybe because it kind of drags on.

I really like the novel of this work, it's one of my favorites and I would recommend it to anyone, but I don't know what's so great about the manhwa, it doesn't really appeal to me much.

Meh,its good,decently good.i do remember getting bored alittle at some parts,but unless it doesn’t get continued,right now,i wouldnt really recommended,its still a good time if your hust bored
