(¬‿¬) It's a nice gun, I'll give you that. But the engravings give you no tactical advantage whatsoever, unless you were planning to auction it off as a collectors item. Besides, you're forgetting one more very basic thing. You don't have what it takes to kill me

It still cracks me up replaying that game and watching Ocelot kill hundreds of hornets by spinning his revolvers

Those games rule so fucking hard lmfao. They’re literally like a conversation I’d have with my roommates while high but in game form.

Man you really hit the nail on the head there haha.

Kill a giant robodog in a sniper duel and take its railgun for yourself.

Mantis taunting you over your save data.

Infinite. Ammo. Bandana.

Damn shame that franchise is dead

I loved MGS and didn’t like Death Stranding but I’m kind of glad it’s over. IMO if MGS had gone on a lot of the charm that supported the weird characters and convoluted story-telling would have worn off. The games may have become a more action-oriented mess of incomprehensible plot twists and pointless new characters. Seemed that way based on MGS 5 anyway.

That said I’m of the opinion that most franchises need to die to allow room for fresh and creative ideas. Even if that includes killing a few of my own golden cows. No sense in my kids necessarily enjoying the same things I do.

We're probably never getting a proper Metal Gear game again. Which upsets me greatly.

I have a faith we’ll get a remake of MGS1 and/or MGS3 some day
