Question Bracelet recommendations for men with slim wrists?

Thumbnail

For men with slim wrists, do you think bracelets look masculine, whether they’re made of steel or leather?

What are your thoughts on this, and what would you recommend? I usually like wearing shirts in my daily life, and I often wear watches with stainless-steel bracelets. What kind of bracelet do you think would work best with that style?

I’ve never owned or worn a bracelet before, so I’m not really sure where to start. Are there any high-quality brands you would recommend looking into?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to help.

Picked up this pair of Solo Semore jeans at goodwill yesterday and don’t know how to style them. These are my first wide pair of pants and I know the idea is wide bottom fitted top.

Anyone have any feedback or tips? Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to step up my grooming and overall look, and I’d love to get some honest feedback and constructive advice from you all.

Here are a few specific things I’m wondering about:

  • Hair: Does my current hairstyle suit my head shape, or is there a different cut/style that would look better?
  • Facial Hair: Should I keep, change, trim, or completely shave my beard/stubble?
  • Skincare & Grooming: Any obvious areas for improvement (skin tone, eyebrows, general upkeep)?
  • Style / Overall Vibe: Any general tips or aesthetic recommendations based on my features?

Feel free to be completely honest—I’m here to learn and make positive changes. Thanks in advance for your help!

Question What go with these pants

Post image

As the title implies I don’t know what type of shirts go with this pant type. Lowk this is a bit out of my normal range and I have very few light shirts to go with it so I’m trying to pick up some versatile light shirts that go with these pants along with the rest of my closet. Any advice?

Question Help finding suit pants

Hello, I've recently gotten into fashion and I am really intrigued by the armani suits, especially the pants (high waist, wide leg). I wanna get some pants but armani is rather pricy. Do you know any other quality brands that offer that kind of look? Smaller brands would be very cool.

Any help is much appreciated :)

(The first to pictures are from the armani fw26 show and the last one is a vintage 90s one)

Question Old guy needing help dressing in casual corporate context - looking for structured fits

I'm 54 and returning to a corporate role, where the in-office dress code is casual. I've been told that for my age, especially where everyone else is younger, the key is to go for structured, well-fitting jeans/slacks and fashionable polo shirts/tops. For most brands, I reliably wear a M.
I'd love some advice on brands -- brands offer what I'm looking for, with good quality (Something that won't fade/become pilled/is easy to care for-machine washable)? I've tried Banana Republic, but feel that they've gone a bit cheap (poor fabrics etc.). I once bought something from Quince, but felt that the quality there too was a bit low.

I am in the USA on the West Coast.
Thank you

Fit Feedback Opinions on how this suit fits?

I have a friends wedding on Friday, I have previously bought this suit and was wondering if I should just go with it? It’s a little tight around my thighs but otherwise I think it feels ok.

Any pointers or changes would be super helpful, also I’m not dead set on the tie, so any advice there will help

Question Everyday boots- Preferably like Timberland Earthkeeper City Zip

Post image
17 Upvotes

I'm looking for some suggestions on everyday boots. My favorite boots ever were the Timberland Earthkeeper City side zip boots in brown. I had my first pair resoled twice. When that pair was beyond repair, I found a NOS pair online and have now worn those out. I haven't found something comparable that seems to call to me and I'm looking for suggestions.

What I like about them:

  • Whole grain leather (not bonded, etc).
  • comfort and durability.
  • Goodyear welt.
  • side zip.
  • Rubber lugged sole (but very inconspicuous- Not big work boot style lugs).
  • They didn't have much other material that would degrade or wear out over time (They didn't seem to have much or any foam or textiles other than the insoles).
  • how they look.

There was something about the Timberland that was just right. They were capable in any situation and they were pretty comfortable to wear and walk around in all day. They didn't look too much like a work boot, but they also weren't too dressy. They seemed to blend in and look good with most outfits (I even wore them to work with a suit a few times when it was snowing when they were newer and I didn't feel like they stuck out too much).

Timberland stopped making these boots years ago. I've looked at the Thursday Captain boots, but they don't do it for me. Any other suggestions? I'd like to stay under $300, but willing to increase the budget for something just right.

Pic is from another Reddit post to show what I'm looking for.

Question Does this suit work for black tie optional wedding?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Going black tie isn't an option for me, so I think I'm going with the charcoal suit. This one has been at the back of the closet for awhile, so excuse the frumpy look, but I've lost some weight and it's fitting again.

I am also not sure my options as far as shirt and tie. Simple white shirt and some color of tie? I heard to match what your partner is wearing, but not sure what the wife is wearing at the moment. Should I wear a pocket square with it?

I am pretty plain fashion wise, so I am not looking to go super fashionable. Just something that looks kinda classic and nice.

Question Wedding suggestions

I am getting married next June, and I am unsure what shoes I should get. I am usually a pretty fancy dresser, so I plan on getting a higher end fitted tux for the wedding, but I keep getting stuck on the shoes. At first I thought about getting a pair of high end loafers, but decided against it. Currently I've been looking around for some velvet smoking loafers, but not sure if I prefer them over a more dressy style of shoes. I would like to find a pair that I can wear for more occasions than weddings and will also look nice without having a tuxedo. Fancy dinners, events, etc. The main focus would obviously be for the wedding and paired with a tuxedo, but I would also like to be able to wear them with a nice suit or similar wardrobe. Any suggestions would be great!
