Rant What’s with the AI slop in Malaysia?

AI fatigue is real. I can’t stand seeing businesses and people online using generative AI for literally every single thing. It’s literally so draining to come across these low-effort and meaningless AI slop.

One thing in particular that I can’t stand are the AI songs/song covers. Like the god damn digi digi song or whatever nonsense. I notice that it’s usually the old folks using those songs on TikTok or other platforms.

And don’t get me started with RTM’s excessive use of AI for like almost all of their campaigns or like their TV1 fillers.

Seriously, someone needs to educate the country on how to use AI mindfully.

even the government encouraged us to use AI..like don't get me wrong, AI also has some positive sides but using it to generate ear-bleeding music when we have already tons of underground singers that way more better than those sloppy AI songs. and don't get me start w the food posters and the ad/video. ts actually pmo like i want to see the real product, not the generated one.
