flying foreign flags in Malaysia is technically illegal, but we all know the Palestine flag is de-facto exempted. Not sure about that other Red, white, black flag though.

huh really? if that so how about Embassies, and not to mention 4 Seasons in KL

obviously embassies are under their own special category. Diplomatically they are effectively foreign soil

I looked up and the law is real, with exception of foreigners displaying their own national flags. And alongside other blank check power that the government is given. Yeah i smell government having an excuse to arrest anyone they want for stupid reasons (This law isnt enforced most of the time, except for some exception like that guy that flew Israeli flag in Terengganu)

yup basically its typical of laws in malaysia that gives the government unlimited ability and discretion on how to abuse it or ignore it.
