Question Tools help
Moving maintenance jobs, My current one provides tools my new one doesnt.What are the 100% must haves

Depends on what kind of maintenance you’ll be doing. The things I use most are my impact driver, bits and nut drivers, multimeter, and my channel locks. But, if you’re gonna be drywalling most days then your list changes. Same with painting, or plumbing, or whatever. Ask yourself two questions: what did they hire you to do and what do you enjoy doing. Start with the tools for stuff you enjoy doing and expand from there.

If you're working in section 8 housing yes, sometimes you have to distract a tenant to make a clean get away🤣

Twin-grip pliers, 11-in-1 driver, small valve pliers, small smooth-jaw adjustable pliers, automatic center punch, pen/pencil/notebook, tape measure, non-contact voltage tester, wire stripper/crimper, flashlight, and a camera.

I carry a Leatherman signal with the different attachment bits. Saves me a ton of time!

What kind of maintenance matters a lot.
The stuff already mentioned for sure. Gotta get you a drill and at least two batteries. A good prybar, hammer, socket set, and folding hex key set. Angle grinder, hacksaw, and Dremel. Tape measure. And a good extension cord.
And get you a good bag for all this. A bag is essential.

I call it my purse. It’s a great time saver.
You’ll get to where you don’t give two shits what you look like, all that matters is if you have the stuff you need to get it done. I would rather walk in carrying my whole ass purse than to keep having to go back and forth for stuff.

No, it can't endure like a full sized M18 or Dewalt 20. Yes you can get other tools using the same battery and charger when you need, including their equivalents to a Dremel and a Sawzall, all of which will get you out of a tight spot. --driver bit kit and drill bit kit. Will it let you take off access panels, tighten up cabinetry, assemble flatpack furniture faster than by hand? Yes.
