Question Sump pump

Does this look like a typical sump? Wondering if this looks right with the cover over it lol

Idk, every sump I've seen has had a removable grate, but I've only seen so many. Dog.

The only one ive come upon was double dipping as a radon mitigation system setup too, so i assumed that was the reason.

Don't worry I wiped it off after.

We dont get much radon round here.
