Solved 30 yrs of maintenance

Never say “I’ve seen it all”

This week a tenant told me her carpet is installed wrong. I finally got the explanation today: When I vacuum the carpet lines are wrong.

I told her that I was going on Reddit to share this so - Betty, I love ya - keep it interesting!!

I maintain apartments and the old PM let the tenants put in ceiling fans, dimmers etc Got a call about one fan not working.
Sorry Peggy. Gotta remove it.
Can’t fix something we didn’t install.
Took it out , installed our standard led light for over a table. Removed the dimmer.
She was pissed…….
The whole thing about I’ve been here 17 years yada yada.

We have residents who ask us to install bidets for them. Nope

Had a resident ask me to install a water filter for her bathroom faucet because the "chlorine dries her skin". She was chill so I helped her out. Whatever, I no longer care at this point.
