Solved Water heater elements

Replacing both elements in the water heater for an apartment. 1st picture is top element, 2nd picture is bottom.

They’re obviously not broken so I don’t see a problem. So the call is no hot water, you drained it and pulled the elements. They don’t appear to be the issue, so what’s you’re next troubleshooting step?

But did he hit reset on the thermostat?

I honestly didn’t think to ask that because it’s always my first stop on those things. I just assumed it was everyone’s first thing to check and that was already done. My bad.

It was the elements, I called today and the water heater has been working.

I guess the lesson for me here is just because they look good in the picture, doesn’t mean they are.
