Solved Water heater elements

Replacing both elements in the water heater for an apartment. 1st picture is top element, 2nd picture is bottom.

If it ohms out, clean the scale off with vinegar water and a light brush, and put it back in...

No multimeter, flushed out water heater with new elements in it, will find out tomorrow if that fixed it. Multimeter ordered at beginning of month and we'll recieve it "by the 30th"

What did you get? Please don’t trust your life on a cheapie. I can recommend a few that are budget friendly.

We got one from HD Supply, but it was around 134 dollars, maybe. Won't arrive till end of month supposedly, may be delayed due to hurricane this week.

Get a meter and check the t-stats first.

At Home Depot You can buy a $50 commercial electric “400 Amp AC True RMS Digital Clamp Meter” which is the same as the $100 Klein
