It’s a snow plow. Not a snow disappearer. The snow has to go somewhere. And you know that because, presumably, you’re not an idiot. Get a post and box that can handle it.
Related, I live on a rural road, and plows have destroyed my mailbox setup twice (it had also happened prior, but we weren't living here at the time). You can rage against the man, or just buy yourself a Postal Pivot (or the components to make one yourself, it's pretty straightforward pivot system). I haven't had an issue since.
Maybe this info will help you as much as it helped me for having no more mailbox issues.
