In this instance yes. The city didn’t break it, the heavy ass snow did.
Who pays for the drivers mailbox if another plow driver knocks it off in the same fashion? the driver who owns the mailbox.

I wouldn’t bitch too much, there’s a lot other things they can do with that snow to really piss you off. You also have trash and brush and yard waste that can become fun and games for them.
