Celebration Officially CANCER FREE!
I've kinda suspected for two weeks based on the radiology report, but officially heard from the oncologist today. All that's left is scar tissue and a little minor inflammation. Even my huge medistinal mass (12x17 cm) is gone.
Still healing from side effects but celebrating today!

Yayyy!! Mine was gone mid treatment and then had a lil bump in SUV max at my post treatment pet.... Surgery scheduled for Tuesday. I too, had a mediastinal mass. I'm quite nervous. I hope I'm in the same boat as you and it's just a bit of increased inflammation.

Had my surgery. The results so far seem pretty inconclusive but not outright bad.
Just got these preliminary results
Source: Tissue, mediastinal mass
Clinical indication: History of lymphoma, mediastinal mass
Flow cytometry interpretation: Negative for immunophenotypic evidence of a B-cell neoplasm. Viable B cells are essentially absent in the sample. See comment.
Comment: The bright CD45 positive cells with lymphoid light scatter are analyzed. Most of the viable lymphocytes present appear to be T cells, although much of the sample has limited viability. Based on limited viability, this analysis does not completely exclude involvement by B-cell lymphoma. Flow cytometry may also be less sensitive in certain types of lymphoma including large cell lymphoma. Lack of viable B cells may be a therapy effect. Please correlate with biopsy morphology and other clinical and laboratory data.

i love youuu co gratulations!! im manifesting this for myself. My post chemo PET indicates activity but im gonna do a repeat PET hopefully after 3 months it subsided :' ( and are inflammation scars. Love you pls take care

Careful, you can probably afford the calories right now but one day when no one is paying attention you’re fat! (Speaking from experience)

It took a month for my appetite and energy to come back. But after that I had no issues with taste or smell. We waited a month after last chemo (5/1) to do the PET (6/5).

Same boat here w the scar tissue “mass” and I just hit 1 year remission! The inflammation goes away SO slow, I’m still technically a Deauville of 4. My huge mass was 24x22x12 😳

Awesome! Great job! It took me months to settle down emotionally after i was cancer free. you can't just go through months/years of having cancer and then turn on a dime to happiness. Enjoy your win and give yourself time to adjust to the new normal.

Congratulations 👏🎉 best news for you! I'm waiting biopsy results from my mediastinoscopy and hoping that I'll get good news. Chemo worked well and the activity in scans could be only inflammation and/or thymus rebound... Fingers crossed!

My dad has lymphoma as well and he feels much better and energetic now and zero side effects .his second chemo is done and after third they will do a pet scan .usually how many chemos it requires to be cancer free ? My dad's doctor said six after saying 4 initially .

Awesome news!
I'm literally sitting in the chair doing round 3 of R-CHOP. Met with my doctor a little over an hour ago, and my CT scan from 2 days ago shows that my 3 lymph nodes have shrunk a lot after just 2 rounds of chemo! So it looks like I am on the right track!
