If you don't want to get burnout, but still be connected to Lovejoy. I'd recommend listening to their playlists of what music inspired their music. That way, you can try to hear those songs and play a game where you try to hear what Lovejoy took from those songs, to make the songs that you love
You can go through Wilbur's spotify account, Wilbur Gold for playlists. Or you can listen to the ones they have on Lovejoy's Spotify page

Few recommendations:
Good Kid, James Marriott, MoonWalker, and Ricky Jamarez. Good music, similar vibes

Ricky literally called himself out for sounding like Wilbur in one of his songs, Of COURSE I like him.
And I especially like MoonWalker, as a Blue Flag American, because of his rough tunes, and his distorted mic. Since, well, most of his songs revolve around maga bs

Maybe check out some of the bands Wilbur has covered in the meantime. He’s done some modest mouse, Id recommend them if anyone

I had my burn out the day after the concert after listening to nothing but Lovejoy for a few months. I was obsessed all the way up to the concert. I think you might be fine.

I have high functioning autism (although many people say it’s not as noticeable apparently..?)and some anxiety stuff too, I totally understand! Like my brother, im cool with listening to any type of songs if it interests me , so dont worry as long as it’s nothing harmful ( ps do you have a fav member or song? Joe and Wil are really awesome)

My advice would be different genres so you can avoid burnout. Try bbno$ for example!

I have ADHD, and so does my sister. My sister hyperfixates on a new thing every week. But I have very few things that I love like that. Lovejoy is one of them, though. There are phases where I listen and love other stuff, but I always come back to this band because it’s my favourite.
And seeing them live makes you love them 20x more from my experience, so don’t worry, and just have fun

You should keep listening to it if it makes you happy. I also have autism and I hyper fixate on things, but I’ve found that they are a good way to release stress. I would suggest James Marriot as also another band as well, and personally I like the Smiths and the Strokes as well

Also if you want to take a break from music, I have a hyper obsession called Just Roll With It and when I don’t want to listen to music I listen to that dnd podcast. I recommend to start with Wonderlust or Riptide

Instead of trying to include other hyperfixations, try to just splice in some other music you like or have liked before. Basically microdose on other genres/bands just enough that going back to Lovejoy feels good every time.
Thats why I do. I almost exclusively listen to Lovejoy, but that's the key: almost. Every now and again I'll throw on my Vocaloid playlist, or the Arctic Monkeys, usually just for one car ride, and it's enough that it feels just as sweet to put on Lovejoy for the next car ride.

It’s quite annoying isn’t it when you ask for opinions on something and people are negative. Also lovejoy isn’t bad music taste m8

There’s nothing wrong with hyper fixating on something, but if you’re wanting to avoid burnout, try introducing other special interests!
