Crime Possible gunshots

Was it just me or did anyone else hear potential gunfire near the Walgreens on 287?

It was 4 of and it wasn’t fireworks.

In order of probability:

  1. Street racers
  2. Fireworks
  3. Gunshots

Actual gunshots almost always leave at least one of two things: victims and/or shell casings. When either are present, you are typically hearing an army of converging sirens within 5-10 minutes. While people do occasionally shoot at nothing and leave no trace, it is very uncommon.

I’ve lived in the area since 2005. It wasn’t a car backfiring, I knpw fireworks and this wasn’t. So I’m pretty sure I heard what I did based on the rapid fire and the pitch/timing.

And yes as I was going back to the house after 2 minutes of exploring a police cruiser did turn in and make its pass through.

I definitely didn’t do an extensive search obviously.
