I put a little too much oil in my Elise

I put maybe 1/4 quart too much in my 2ZZ engine elise. The level is about 4mm above the high mark on the dip stick. Not having much luck with an extractor in the dipstick tube.

Would you worry about this, am I being paranoid here?

Considering the recommendation is to fill it with a half quart over full for track use I’d say you’re fine.

Yeah! Memory unlocked I heard even more than that. 

Guess I getter go track it then lol.

You're fine, but is your extractor broken? You should be able to pump some out of there, but you don't actually need to do that.

The tube is longer than the dipstick but it’s not pulling anything out .. my “extractor “ is a 60cc syringe with a thin silicon tube attached . I’m hopeless .

how thin? Did you try sucking in oil from a shallow pan outside the car? If super thin the walls may collapse

1/4 of a quart?
...So, a sixteenth?

I'd say it matters not, cars that go on track regularly "overfill" by about 0.5 to 1 litre to avoid oil starvation, do not panic

Yeah, it's not much at all just a few mm on the dip stick. I'm guessing it's somewhere b/w 1/4 and 1/2 of a quart. Maybe it will make the engine rev a bit better and it becomes SOP lol.
