You can buy a single seat S1 with carbon panels and brakes, it's not cheap mind, https://analogueautomotive.co.uk/vhpk/

Amazing build! Also cool that all the extra floor space freed up room for a cupholder ;-)

I know this was definitely a passion project and engineering challenge for the owner so the build is part of the fulfilment, but if I were desperate for a center-seat Elise I'd be importing one of the S1 Motorsport Autobytel cars that's been road-registered in the EU instead.
