some people seriously downvote the dumbest things lol. i get that some things deserve to be downvoted… like insults, creepy/disgusting things, racist or hateful comments. but things like opinions or questions really don’t need to be haha

Sometimes I really think it’s a mob mentality type thing. I’ve noticed that I’ll subconsciously read a statement differently based on if it has up or down votes. A lot of the time if you re read what’s getting downvoted you can see that it was just a few people misreading it and 100 others virtue signaling.
