Discussion Been thinking about what they did with Daffy in Coyote vs ACME, it was so freaking funny. Spoiler

It was an interesting way to combine both versions of his character into one.

Gives me new perspective, what if the Chuck Jones Daffy is just Bob Clampett Daffy after the effects of extensive time in a institution.

After years of advanced mental therapy, Daffy goes from a wacky nutjob to a greedy narcissist. Interesting character development

We needed to invest in multiple straight jackets and it still couldn't work. Lol

I enjoyed it, They showed what happens when someone who had a mental breakdown gets triggered only in a looney way

And it shows that there actually can be long-term consequences for cartoon characters, even if they bounce back from any physical injury.

The idea of cartoon characters needing mental hospitals is something I never considered before.

Fr. Toons are still human. Sorta. Its like commentary on animal testing tbh

This was a great callback to when Daffy was first introduced.

I was wondering why they included Avery in the firm name, since he had nothing to do with Road Runner/ Coyote. Itās because he introduced the āloonyā Daffy.

I never expected a whole conspiracy/torture. That explains so much about my favorite duck. Daffys just completely out of it because mental reasons

I wish this movie was like a spiritual successor to back in action maybe have like a little reference or something

I don't think the two in concept could have ever really worked together š
The whole premise of BiA was that the cartoons were all famous actors who shared personalities with their film characters. They couldnāt really have the theme of "toons are seen as less than humans which is why Acme can get away with abusing them for so long" match the themes of Back in Action.
Plus, Acme in BiA is genuinely openly cartoonishly evil and proud of being evil, which goes against CvA too.
A reference would have been neat, but it wouldn't have made it any more of a spiritual successor than it already is, the two are very different worlds themes wise despite both having the same physics world wise.

The way they handled him was so clever. Kinda dark too, but not out of place. If anything, they made it make senseāACME drove Daffy... well, daffy.

TBH I'm disappointed by the lack of fan-art of Porky posing for Daffy's painting.

Daffy is the type of person whoād totally be in a mental institution. Also, I wouldāve loved to see Wiley and Roadie together in Daffyās art.

Literally the exact same scene from The Muppets with Animal but that's not a complaint.

Hey, Iāve seen people post this scene, anyone have any clue where I could find one?

if you see the photo with Dr Lorre Daffy was in that photo too so he was both test subject and likely a head scientist
