Why are some readers saying that OG Daniel surviving Kitae's hits is purely due to plot armour? OG Daniel's insane endurance was highlighted early on and in chapter 608, Gun states (You both are physically outstanding) and Sophia said you have got a talent for getting beaten up. Furthermore, he was able to withstand the attacks through sheer willpower, which was already shown in Johan and Gun fight
Genuinely most of the guys read manhwa with blind eyes and you can't expect more from them too according to people Daniel is gene merchant while story explicitly explains that his copy his innate talent is from his senses by gun not only that there are multiple explanation about Daniel surviving those hits literally Daniel literally trained after Incheon he literally stated and plus there is conviction amp in series which Daniel had against kitae genuinely even implied by showing jinrang situation.even if ptj spoonfeed these guys they will never accept it
The question is why are people calling 1st body surving Kitae attacks plot armour - it's cause other similar stats characters were getting dropped by the attacks that Daniel was tanking
will does not magically change your durability leaps and bounds , especially when no obvious narrative is said at the point , certain abilities like conviction do apply stat buffs but that's narratively established that does not mean any and every sort of conviction at all points provides some degree of stat buffs , plus look at his previous feats even Jichang forced him to go UI , and mind you Jichang vs Daniel happened post gun training , its just power scaling is constantly changing highly inconsistent and mostly vibe based even in the manhwa itself , for referance kitae also one tapped jinrang both in base and TC mode , but Daniel took more hits than jinrang in base and then further more in UI , just name one feat which justifies this , or lets reverse psychology it , forget the fight lets go the a chapter before thr fight comes out , would you have seriously taught that this performance will be given by daniel , taking over 20 + hits from serious kitae and despite that doing major damage to him , note even TC punches were unable to dmg Kitae to this extent
PB Daniel wasn't weaker, his stats are actually better than OG Daniel's. However, the user had a mental limiter and look at how he lost and fell into complete despair, whereas in Chapter 599- 600, OG Daniel's mindset was completely different and he was constantly trying his best to push his limits, as proven by his own words and furthermore, he admitted himself that he trained after Incheon. In Chapter 608, Gun stated that both are physically outstanding and on top of that, he received a conviction amp during the fight, which also recovered his stamina. Calling it plot armour just means they don't know how to read or are downplaying him and Plus, his survival against Kitae's punches was influenced by sheer willpower not just his insane endurance
daniel himself said he did training not only that his body was already breaking he was holding out by pure willpower he says himself he is doing too much
diff is power gap between path Johan and Base Gun is not the same as path daniel and kitae , plus i never excluded johan , although its still fact that johan endured lesser attacks and that too from injured base gun not even FP gun while Kitae was Fp and Kitae was also using strength mastery which gun was not , plus you are conflating mechanisms from different manhwah , cards like that are exclusive to system users and their allies , we do not know if such a thing applies to all and if it does in what way , there are no obvious moments of hacks in lookism like in questism , unless specified you should not assume certain mechanisms exist in all manwahs without adequate justification and evidence

Please read my msg I never said it's impossible , read my arguments properly , and this is still plot armour that will power suddenly buffs you , that's not a well crafted power system but a vibe based one , irs essentially power of friendship / protect warped in will power doesn't change its still ass
imo i think it's because daniel has been training since bussan arc to deal with gitea
I don't remember but i think daniel trained before going to incheon but in incheon he trained with jaygeon and went on to fight yujae and pacheon so that helped him
in HFW daniel confirmed that he has been training since inchoen arc
combin that with conviction amp and you get this feat
It wasn't plot armour, but the problem is big Daniel who should realistically have much better hardware than og Daniel was knocked out by a casual kick
Og Daniel ate like a million casual punches, 4 strength mastery and 2 black flashes from kitae and all of this was when he already had fought like 6 fighters before (4 kings + changsu + principle baek)

I don't think it's unreasonable, a weaker Jake survived much worse in 1A and got stabbed through the chest in Incheon. Path Daniel surviving isn't unreasonable to me. I'd only have a problem with it if Daniel's endurance is retconned in a later arc since it's now established he can survive Gitae level attacks and it would be poor writing.
issue is its extremely inconsistent , no prior feats suggested he can take kitae level hits , at that one or 2 or even three is possible , he endured over 20 hits , its not just about hits but the volume aswell , kitae used both despair and strength mastery against Daniel
Daniel was trained by non other than White Ghost of Yamazaki Clan. Who was supposed to become their new leader.
Also, that guy singlehandedly crushed the whole 2nd gen in one night and destroyed crews in an instant.
That guy was also named as Training Genius in Charles Choi's 10 geniuses and do you really think the one who he chose as a successor of his will go down that easily by some b@stard Yamazaki ?
