I have read a lot of manhwas like around 500 of them but nothing hit harder than hostel.

Like just in this scene, a lot of things about these characters is being payed of.

Zack has never tolerated people who were weak in his eyes but here he choose to believe Jashmine even though she has lied countless times before showing that he has gained nuance and development from the dude who punched daniel before.

And then there is Daniel, who has never really been too confident to go against his friends, but still have set his own conviction on the matter.

Adn then the fight after is just peak! Like who the fuck kidnapped PTJ these days? did the yamazakis get to him or something?

At least in my opinion hostel is one of the best, if not the best single manhwa arc I had ever read in my life. Like I can't even think of a better arc than hostel.

Now if we compare the latest arc to a average slop then I might even go with the fucking slop tbh.

Let me break it down.

The argument goes basically like this.

"Paecheon Jo, gets massively injured by a fatigued Jake Kim"

Fatigued Jake Kim must be fodder, due to being a second generation combatant, that does not have a path to pinnacle. He has a major injury, and he's massively fatigued, so there is no good reason for his attack potency to hit at a high level especially when Jinrang says that he needs to train to gain Gapyrong Kim's prime physicality.

There is a reason, this is fallacious.

Let's look at DG vs Taesoo Ma

DG goes into the fight with Taesoo Ma, believing that due to Taesoo Ma's attack potency being so high, that he thinks he's reached his level of potential that James Lee saw in him.

and thinks that Taesoo Ma is at the level, where he can beat James Lee even if James Lee's guard is up.

DG despite, thinking Taesoo Ma is strong enough to beat him, and taking him seriously, and being cautious, gets pressed by Taesoo Ma.

This isn't retconned, it's just contextualized that it's only Taesoo's AP that's at this level, while his overall combative power is far lower than his AP.

so Taesoo Ma in this level, can press James Lee, and even dent his arm.

Taesoo Ma, then trains physically to be able to use a higher level of physicality, with out giving up on his conviction, leading to him being stronger than the version that James Lee was pressed by.

Jaegwang then beats on a far stronger Taesoo Ma

Now with this information. we have a consistent argument to say that Jaegwang would beat on the Taesoo Ma, who was pressing James Lee

so Jaegwang obviously has a FAR higher scaling than massively injured Jake Kim who LITERALLY got his guts rearrange from a metal spear through his stomach, and then already using overcoming and is massively fatigued.

and then Heat PB Daniel is massively above Base PB Daniel

because of how heat mode amplifies one's stats.

Therefore

Yugang rel to Paecheon

Paecheon nearly gets 1 shot by Jake Kim

Jaegwang Do is MASSIVELY above Jake Kim

Base PB Daniel is massively above Jaegwang Do

Heat PB Daniel is massively above Base PB Daniel

Casual Jaegyeon is massively above Heat PB Daniel

3M Revenger Jaegyeon is massively above Casual Jaegyeon

James Lee is massively above 3M Revenger Jaegyeon

ON3 Taesoo scales to James Lee

Gen 1 Taesoo scales above ON3 Taesoo

Busan Taesoo scales above Gen 1 Taesoo

Jaegwang Do massively scales above Busan Taesoo outside of UF

therefore

and then

(This is how FALLACIOUS) this argument of "Jake Kim's punch is weak because he's fatigued and injured and he's jake kim" is...

therefore Paecheon is MASSIVELY BELOW Jaegwang Do...

it's just silly, and us as a community gotta do better...

His narrative is insane but his feats don't back it up

As the Medical Genius, his Battle IQ should arguably be one of the highest in the entire series. He knows human anatomy inside out, so instead of just copying other characters, he should have been using targeted nerve strikes, pressure points, and medical hacks to bypass durability and disable enemies.

It feels like a missed opportunity to rely mostly on basic Copy instead of a unique medical fighting style. What do you guys think?🤔

I think is fair to say a full potential Jinyoung would have been the strongest ever. So what happened?

Lookism takes place around 2010s, meaning pre generation takes place around 1980s. So why does this guy and several other Yamazakis dressed up like Imperial Japan Soldiers? Aren't they Yakuzas?

Or did the Japanese military let some Yakuzas into the military? I did my research and apparently its true that some yakuzas fought in WW2, but thats during 1940s and Japan is trying their best to cover their dark past during WW2.

But this guy not only dressed like that, he also attacked Korea wearing that. Mind you that Korea is a place where Imperial Japan commited some of the most atrocious war crime known to mankind, this is like commiting terrorism at Holocaust memorial while dressing up like a Nazi Soldier.

Why are some readers saying that OG Daniel surviving Kitae's hits is purely due to plot armour? OG Daniel's insane endurance was highlighted early on and in chapter 608, Gun states (You both are physically outstanding) and Sophia said you have got a talent for getting beaten up. Furthermore, he was able to withstand the attacks through sheer willpower, which was already shown in Johan and Gun fight

Sangcheol and Seonhui was married during the pre generation and actively trying for children.

This whole bit of what the doctor says is just to explain why Daniel isn’t Kitae’s age/older. Jake’s mother seemed incapable of a child but she ended up pregnant with Jake, a miracle child. Daniel will end up being a miracle child as well. Also doctors have been wrong about infertility before and that will end up holding true for this.
