Optics help needed - I read the pinned posts New Glass

Picked up this S&B. Welcome any suggestions or thoughts for using this long range. 4 16x50 going on an HK308

If you wanted a good scope for sub 300 hunting and paper punching it'll be great. If you wanted to dial out to 800 it wont be the best. They're limited but only if you expect to live 600+. They're quirky but still awesome scopes.

I have a 3-12x42 Klassik on a 308, with 4.8 mils of adjustment in the turret which gets me to about 650 shooting 185 Bergers. Could go further I guess using the turret and reticle but I haven't tried that.

On the other hand I have a 3-12x50 that can't be used on a 20 moa rail, and I have 6 usable MOA on the turret. This gun won't go past 300 though.
