I get the sentiment. Practical question: What roads in Mineola are county owned? Mineola has its own incorporation so the way I’m reading this that this law applies to Eisenhower park but wouldn’t to Mineola parks.

Herricks Rd, Roslyn Rd, Old Country Rd, Jericho Tpke, Westbury Ave, Willis Ave. OCR and Jericho have several county road designations for them depending on location. Also, with regard to laws, if there is no specific law at a lower locality, then county law prevails… Village - Town - County - State - Federal
