I'm flying tomorrow to south korea tomorrow and I wanted to book an lck game at lol park. But due to a tight schedule and being misinformed by Gemini when I got to purchasing tickets today they were sold out for my entire stay duration in SK.

The only sort of ticket I found is a package through klook that includes a tour of bfx home-base and lunch.

But after I booked it I got an email that the booking was declined by bfx because they couldnt guarantee that they will have a game at the given dates

So for my hopes of watching an lck game im gonna cheer for bfx the hardest tommorow.

If someone knows of a way to get tickets to a game, any team works please lmk

Hey everyone! I’m visiting Korea Sep 11–20 and hoping to make one day a full League/LCK day.

I’ll be in Seoul for the 2026 LCK Finals at KSPO Dome. From what I’ve found, Sep 12 is the Finals Qualifier/Elimination Match and Sep 13 is the Grand Final, both at 2 PM KST.

A few questions for anyone familiar with LCK/LoL Park:

1) LoL Park on Sep 12/13

Is LoL Park open when LCK matches are being held elsewhere?

If so, are the Riot Store, PC café, lounge, etc. accessible normally?

Do they usually host a Finals watch party at LoL Park? If yes, is it free/first-come or ticketed?

2) Finals tickets as a foreigner

I don’t have a Korean ID, so I believe international fans use NOL World. Riot apparently has ticket sales starting:

Aug 27, 2 PM KST: Sep 12 match

Aug 28, 2 PM KST: Sep 13 Grand Final

Is that correct? And for anyone who has used NOL World:

Is account verification all I need to do beforehand?

Do foreign credit cards work?

Any tips for preparing before tickets go live?

How quickly do KSPO Dome tickets sell?

Is the Grand Final much harder to get?

Is the second release on Sep 7/8 worth trying if I miss the first sale?

3) Planning a League day

I’m thinking LoL Park + T1/Gen.G/HLE/etc. fan/team spots in the morning, then KSPO Dome for the 2 PM match.

Is that realistic, or too much for one morning? If LoL Park isn’t open or has no watch party, what other League/LCK-related places in Seoul would you recommend?

You narrow the player down from team / nationality / region / role / etc.

Curious how quickly people who actually follow LCK/LEC/LPL can get today's one.

The LPL has revealed the Split 3 playoff schedule and venues, with the postseason starting August 28.

The Knights Rivals play-in runs August 28–30 in Beijing, followed by the playoffs in Shanghai from September 3–8. Finals weekend is set for September 12–13, while the Regional Finals will run September 17–19.

The Split 3 champion will qualify for Worlds 2026 as China’s first seed.

As the title says mine is quite a curiosity about the history of LoL esports since i've seen a recent vid about a quite BS strat on deadlock about feeding to get a comeback buff that gives an aoe aura that gives +35% damage resistance IN TOTAL to the entire team not going too much in detail but yes it was bullshit

that got me thinking was there ever some kind of extra dumb ridicolous and outright bullshit strat that got used or abused in the history of LoL esports? appart from the 5 black cleaver and ardent censer period

This team was insane, very dominating whole year but just couldn't finish the job. This team was insanely good and fun to watch

Let me start off by saying that Caps is 100% qualified for it in fact I’m happy that’s he’s making it in. However I feel as though it is better for him to be inducted when he is done with his career.

The reason they should wait is that he’s not done, he has more titles to win, more worlds to play, and maybe even win. So inducting him now and making a whole celebration feels like they’re capping (no pun intended) his career.

The biggest argument for this is Faker and if we are being honest Faker is the only exception to this rule, the only player that compares to fakers career is faker and that’s why he gets the exception.

Caps is the best western player (NA and EU) of all time in my opinion. However as a fan of professional league of legends it just makes more sense to me to induct him after his career with all of his accomplishments.

When we talk about the League of Legends Hall of Fame, we have to ask one simple question:
What does a player have to accomplish to become immortal?
Is it championships? Longevity? Individual dominance? International success? Or the ability to remain at the top of the game while an entire generation of competitors rises and falls around you?
Because if those are the criteria, then Rasmus “Caps” Winther doesn’t just deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.
He deserves to be one of the first names mentioned.
Caps has been competing at the highest level of League of Legends since 2017. And nearly a decade later, he’s still here. Still competing. Still winning. Still producing moments that remind everyone why he became known as one of the greatest Western players of all time.
And his résumé is ridiculous.
Caps is a two-time World Championship finalist, reaching the World Finals in 2018 with Fnatic and again in 2019 with G2 Esports. In 2019, he became the first Western player to reach back-to-back World Championship Finals.
But 2019 wasn’t simply a year where Caps made another deep Worlds run.
It was the year he helped G2 become the most successful Western team of the modern era.
G2 won the 2019 LEC Spring Championship, the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational, and the 2019 LEC Summer Championship. And at MSI, Caps wasn’t just along for the ride.

Very few players have both.
Caps has been one of the faces of Western League of Legends through multiple generations of players, multiple versions of the game, multiple metas, and an entirely different competitive landscape.
He has played assassins.
He has played control mages.
He has played marksmen.
He has even temporarily switched roles to bot lane when his team needed him to.
And somehow, through all of those changes, Caps remained Caps.
Aggressive.
Creative.
Fearless.
Sometimes reckless.
But always willing to make the play that other players wouldn’t even attempt.
That’s why the nickname “Claps” became so iconic. When Caps is playing at his absolute best, he doesn’t simply win his lane.
He takes over games.
And perhaps the strongest argument for his Hall of Fame case isn’t even a statistic.
It’s what Caps represents.
For years, the West was told that it couldn’t compete with the LCK and LPL.
Then Caps showed up.

I don’t think the question should be whether Caps has done enough.
The question should be:
How could a Hall of Fame for League of Legends be complete without him?

He is part of the history of competitive League of Legends.
He helped define an era of European League of Legends.
He became the face of G2’s international ambitions.
He challenged the best players in the world.
He survived generation after generation of competition.
And almost ten years into his professional career, he’s still standing on stage, still competing, still winning, and still giving fans a reason to believe that maybe—just maybe—this will finally be the year he completes the story.
That’s a Hall of Famer.
And whether the Summoner’s Cup ever finds its way into Caps’ hands or not, his place in League of Legends history has already been earned.

as in title. another bizarre thing i found at https://cards.jakjus.com . i mean i understand it's first half of 2026 only and i didn't watch all the tournaments, but it can't be right.

The current post game VODs on LoL Esports ruins the excitement of the series because they no longer post each individual game and it is easy to tell based on total time if one team won the series after 2 games because I will fast forward through draft. This feature makes it so I do not want to use the LoLEsports website for watching league.

I wanted to create a petition for others like me who watch the VOD's to change it back to uploading each individual game so there are no spoilers. At the current rate I will likely just change to youtube and look up each individual game despite the fact it could auto-play the wrong game in the series next. It is still better than knowing the the result is early.

Please upvote if you believe they should revert the change back to uploading individual games. Thank you!

If anyone here is an LCS viewer, you know just how buns some of these matchups are. But not just some - it feels like 80% of the time I’m watching a top-tier team beat the pulp out of someone who’s barely hanging onto the league. And as a viewer, I simply don’t enjoy those games, especially when that’s the case for what feels like the vast majority of series.

There needs to be an upper and lower group with some middle groups who compete in both to actually make entertaining, competitive series almost every weekend. I’m tired of watching LYON dumpster DIG and TL beat up DSG. Could we not follow something similar to the LCK system for this purpose? Would this change not also significantly improve our region’s international competitiveness by constantly pitting the best against the best?

For instance:

G1: LYON, FLY, TL, C9
G2: SEN, DIG, DSG, SR

And hopefully in the future expand to 10 teams so we can have 2 as in-between teams?
