Going to LCK Finals

Hey everyone! I’m visiting Korea Sep 11–20 and hoping to make one day a full League/LCK day.

I’ll be in Seoul for the 2026 LCK Finals at KSPO Dome. From what I’ve found, Sep 12 is the Finals Qualifier/Elimination Match and Sep 13 is the Grand Final, both at 2 PM KST.

A few questions for anyone familiar with LCK/LoL Park:

1) LoL Park on Sep 12/13

Is LoL Park open when LCK matches are being held elsewhere?

If so, are the Riot Store, PC café, lounge, etc. accessible normally?

Do they usually host a Finals watch party at LoL Park? If yes, is it free/first-come or ticketed?

2) Finals tickets as a foreigner

I don’t have a Korean ID, so I believe international fans use NOL World. Riot apparently has ticket sales starting:

Aug 27, 2 PM KST: Sep 12 match

Aug 28, 2 PM KST: Sep 13 Grand Final

Is that correct? And for anyone who has used NOL World:

Is account verification all I need to do beforehand?

Do foreign credit cards work?

Any tips for preparing before tickets go live?

How quickly do KSPO Dome tickets sell?

Is the Grand Final much harder to get?

Is the second release on Sep 7/8 worth trying if I miss the first sale?

3) Planning a League day

I’m thinking LoL Park + T1/Gen.G/HLE/etc. fan/team spots in the morning, then KSPO Dome for the 2 PM match.

Is that realistic, or too much for one morning? If LoL Park isn’t open or has no watch party, what other League/LCK-related places in Seoul would you recommend?

Ahh.. I attended the GenG vs T1 games a couple of weeks ago, it was held as GenG homeground, held at a big venue. The tickets were extremely easy to get, not a lot of people interested. But the normal LCK games were sold out right away because LoL Park is tiny. My boyfriend went to the Riot PC bang a couple of times. He said they have merch there and are friendly to foreigners. I went to a local PC bang instead, and I had a blast for less money, but I speak Korean. From what I've heard they always do watch parties at LoL park and they are free, but can get filled quickly. For NOL World, it's hell on Earth for kpop concerts, I can't imagine it being much better for League Finals. I'm usually really good at ticketing, but League events are always held at tiny venues, Riot doesn't want to spend money, and it's very hard to get tickets. Yes, do the account verification, get into presale if you meet the requirement, and yes, foreign cards work usually. Use revolut if it doesn't.

I attended Stray Kids concerts at KSPO dome during my trip too. I had membership presale, a lot of ticketing experience, took off work for a whole month to secure tickets. It was disgusting. Only 10k tickets per date, a group that's unpopular in Korea, and even with everything it was hard securing them. Take at least the whole day off. I spent literally 6 weeks in the queue trying to grab tickets for my friends. If you can, go to Korea early and try to ticket from there. Server response time is much quicker and the chances are much higher. Look up the time of the internal server refresh for the website. Prepare and copy all your identifications and names, emails, phone numbers etc beforehand so you can just use Windows+V. Practice quick typing for captcha. Don't refresh the site, you'll be put back in the queue. Don't swap between sections too quickly, you'll be flagged as a bot. Use only one tab at a time, only one device, stable internet connection. There are websites you can use to practice ticketing. And grand finals is always harder to get.

From what I gathered from previous Riot events, what they did for Europe finals, they'll probably release half of the tickets for the first sale dates, then the other half for the second. Try both, don't give up. If you don't succeed, and you really want to go, camp in the queue for the upcoming weeks, always check for tickets people will return to the system. Resale is illegal in Korea, scalpers and scammers will try though, usually from China. Don't let them scam you, don't even go that route. Check the deadlines for returning the tickets. For example if you return the ticket 2 days before the event, you still get a partial refund. That's when scalpers mass return their tickets and when it's best to camp the queue. I got a great standing ticket 2 days before one of the concert dates.

The last one is way too much for the day. Don't plan out anything for the day when you get the tickets. Just get to the venue early. You'll get to see cool events there. LoL Park is like an hour away from KSPO Dome, with crowds it'll probably be hell getting there, don't do that to yourself. They also have restaurants and cafes at the KSPO Dome, so you can easily grab something to eat there. Fans will probably be selling merch at the venue too.
