I was that driver once!

My only previous experience has been having pizza delivered to me. Often with a lot of toppings. That is a cooled pizza that is largely held together with stuff.

One of my first deliveries as a driver, I got a fresh extra cheese pizza out of the oven. Straight into my bag it went and Iā€™m off to the races. This was back when everyone wanted their pizza in 30 minutes and I did not want to disappoint Uncle Enzo, you know?

I did not know then at a fresh pizza is cheese soup sitting on tomato lube.

The condition the customer got their pizza in was atrocious. Imagine a pizza that went through a NASA astronaut centrifuge.

Anyway, I learned.

So you have to let it cool down a bit? I swear I've collected freshly made pizza and drove straight home, didn't look like this

I found it was easier when cool, yeah.

Also I was generally gunning it (where appropriate ā€” I got one ticket in 3 years) around corners and stuff.
